ECOGAGE empowers adults to critically assess sustainability claims, make informed choices and adopt sustainable habits. The project develops engaging, interactive tools that simplify sustainability education, making it accessible and practical. Educators gain ready-to-use resources to enhance sustainability training, while digital learning methods foster behavioral change. The project promotes green skills, fights misinformation, and strengthens collaboration across European sustainability education.
Activities
1. Research on sustainability perceptions and misleading claims, leading to fact-based educational materials.
2. Development of interactive animation videos, engaging adult learners in decision-making scenarios on sustainability.
3. Creation of a Virtual Sustainable Household platform to help users practice sustainable choices in everyday life.
4. Dissemination via social media, EPALE, 5 national conferences and more to ensure broad adoption of results by learners and educators.
Impact
ECOGAGE delivers engaging sustainability education through interactive videos, a Virtual Sustainable Household platform, and myth-busting fact sheets. Adult learners gain critical thinking skills, educators receive digital teaching tools, and sustainability education becomes more practical and accessible. Results will be freely available in multiple languages, ensuring long-term impact. National conferences and digital outreach will promote adoption across education, policy, and community sectors.
