Our first face-to-face ECOGAGE project meeting in Rome (10–11 June) brought together partners for two intensive days of collaboration, creativity, and shared learning.

Hosted at Via Savoia 21 in the beautiful Coppedè district – one of Rome’s most unique architectural areas – the meeting combined structured workshops with inspiring informal exchanges in an unforgettable setting.

Across the two days, partners worked intensively on:

  • Fact Sheets finalisation
We reviewed and aligned the final Fact Sheets, ensuring consistency, quality, and readiness for dissemination. A shared approach to translation and final adjustments was agreed to support smooth implementation.
  • Dissemination strategy
We aligned communication channels, target groups, and partner roles to strengthen the project’s visibility and impact.
  • Learning videos development sessions
A key focus was placed on building a shared understanding of sustainability content and developing the concept for interactive, decision-based learning videos. Partners co-created initial storylines, explored real-life sustainability dilemmas, and defined the foundations for engaging digital learning experiences.
  • Design & planning of interactive videos
Initial assumptions regarding structure, narrative approach, script templates, and production timeline were developed, alongside the allocation of topics between partners – ensuring a coherent and scalable output.

Beyond the formal agenda, the meeting also included a cultural experience at Villa Torlonia and a partnership dinner, strengthening collaboration and trust within the consortium.

Feedback from participants highlighted:
Excellent organisation and clear communication before and during the workshop
Highly effective agenda and facilitation supporting active engagement
Strong knowledge exchange across all WPs
Significant development in sustainability education, storytelling, and digital learning design skills
High satisfaction with collaboration and overall project progress
Strong confidence that the outcomes will be valuable for the ECOGAGE project

The overall atmosphere was described as inspiring, collaborative, and highly productive – with partners emphasising the strong flow of ideas and high quality of cooperation.

A strong start to the next phase of ECOGAGE – turning sustainability education into interactive, engaging learning experiences.
