Yesterday, our team had the privilege of hosting the multiplier event of the Empower – Encouraging Migrant women to seize their Potential and Opportunities in the World of Entrepreneurship project, with the title Tržnica podjetniških zgodb (Marketplace for entrepreneurial stories). It was an evening brimming with entrepreneurial spirit, insightful discussions, and meaningful connections.

We started with the presentation of the Empower project and its remarkable results. With this project, we want to identify the existing competencies of migrant women and improve them through targeted training so that they can consider professional self-employment.

At the event we shared our journey, highlighting the impact we’ve made and presented the materials and tools we created within the project:

We continued with a captivating lecture on social entrepreneurship by Nassim Djaba from Impact Hub Ljubljana. His experience illuminated new perspectives on leveraging business for social impact, inspiring all in attendance.

After the lecture the attendees had the opportunity to showcase their own ventures. Through short presentations, individuals shared their ideas and projects.

Networking sessions provided the platform for attendees to connect, exchange ideas, have interesting conversations and talk about potential collaborations.

In the last part of the event we gathered around a round table where four seasoned entrepreneurs shared their personal journeys: Matic Kuselj from Chipolo, Tina Strubelj from Nelipot, Andraž Gavez from BAM and Ana Malalan Čeligoj from Anselma. Andrej Juričko from STEP facilitated the discussion.

Their stories of challenges, triumphs, and lessons learned left everyone with a renewed sense of determination and purpose.

Throughout the evening, the energy was fueled by the collective passion for entrepreneurship and positive change.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this event a success. Together, we’re paving the way for a brighter, more entrepreneurial future.

Here’s a glimpse to the multiplier events organized by our partners in Germany, Sweden and Italy.
