With FemAILab – Open Lab for Artificial Intelligence for Women, we’re creating an inclusive space where women can co-learn, experiment, and grow with AI! This project offers a collaborative learning environment for female learners and trainers to explore and apply AI tools in their professional, educational, and personal growth.
During our recent session at Ljudska univerza Koper, we focused on hands-on AI exploration, providing practical tools and insights to help women unlock new digital opportunities.
Our goals:
- Provide accessible, fear-free AI learning.
- Boost women’s digital skills and bridge the digital gender gap locally and across Europe.
- Address the shortage of skilled workers, particularly those with IT skills.
- Promote lifelong learning and new educational formats.
- Empower women to become AI entrepreneurs, democratizing work processes.
How it works?
- Learning Setting: A hybrid, collaborative approach supported by methods like Working Out Loud (WOL), LernOS, and Transformative Learning Circles (TLC).
- Learning Content: Practical AI tools tailored to participants’ needs and the latest AI developments (e.g., GPT-5 by the end of 2024).
STEP is actively involved in all activities – we design the adaptive learning setting and content, we will test run it in both partner countries and then evaluate which elements of it will be integrated in the adapted version, which we will then share with other learning professionals in our regional networks and in Europe.
