As we run inclusive youth theatre workshops as part of the Empatheatry project, we are also hosting national and international supervision sessions for youth theatre facilitators from Slovenia, Spain, Ireland, and Belgium.
The purpose of these supervisions is to provide theatre educators and youth workers with continuous support, enhancing the quality of activities through ongoing evaluation and encouraging cross-border networking and knowledge exchange. Facilitators can share challenges, highlight best practices, and discuss the inclusivity and applicability of our methods across various cultural and international settings.
By tackling complex issues and conflicts that may arise in inclusive theatre work, these supervision sessions contribute to developing more resilient, creative, and culturally responsive approaches.
Impressions: The sessions provided valuable insights, offering a meaningful exchange of perspectives. It was a great opportunity to reflect on the importance of diversity and gain inspiration from one another’s experiences.
