Two weeks ago at STEP Institute, everything revolved around the BLOOM program.
We hosted a group of older adults from Portugal, organized a local intergenerational community event, and presented BLOOM to adult educators. It was an intense but incredibly rewarding week with long-lasting impact.
Since March, we’ve been meeting regularly in Tivoli Park – building a community, exercising, challenging our minds, and sharing meaningful conversations. What started as weekly gatherings turned into three days of activities in a row during the exchange.
Key outcome 1: A real sense of community. Our participants are now planning a trip to Lisbon together – even if it’s not EU-funded.
Key outcome 2: Adult educators saw real value in BLOOM. Some plan to draw inspiration for their current activities, others will introduce selected practices – and a few are ready to implement the full program.
Key outcome 3: Participants truly embraced their role as BLOOM ambassadors – they’re excited to spread the spirit and share the experience with friends and peers.
Curious about BLOOM? Get in touch – we’d be happy to share more.
