Eight months into the UP2NEB journey, the project team gathered in Leiden to reflect on the progress and drive forward our mission: creating a youth-centered, interdisciplinary upskilling path inspired by the New European Bauhaus.
Over two days of intense collaboration, we explored key milestones, shared insights, and set a clear direction for the next stages of the project.
A key focus of the meeting was the discussion of Living Labs, where we presented key findings that highlighted innovative groundwork across diverse contexts. We also made significant progress on the Training Programme. Participants engaged in lively discussions to refine the assigned topics and formats, examining the proposed structure.
The meeting culminated in a hands-on co-design session to begin developing the DiY Toolkit, a practical resource for youth workers. By incorporating input from all participants, we ensured the toolkit reflects the New European Bauhaus principles of sustainability, inclusivity, and beauty, paving the way for transformative learning and impactful projects.
This meeting marked another important step forward for UP2NEB, thanks to the energy, creativity, and commitment of our partners.
