Between November 21 and 23, 2025, in Ljubljana, we are organizing the Triathlon of Activism – a free three-day event for young people (15-30) who want to understand the world, get active in it, and create change.
Each day we will explore key questions together: WHAT is happening? WHY do we need to take action? HOW can we change things?
The event brings together inspiring speakers, personal stories, lectures, and a hands-on workshop for developing ideas – all with a clear goal: to raise awareness and support youth action.
Friday, November 21 (5:00 – 7:00 PM): WHAT?
A day dedicated to understanding challenges and inequalities in today’s society. With us will be:
-
Katarina Bervar Sternad, lawyer and director of PIC – on rights, equality, and equity.
-
Maša Gril – on cultural differences and experiences from an asylum home.
-
Valentina Šumrada, craftswoman and self-taught seamstress – on the impact of fast fashion on the environment, people, and the Global South.
Saturday, November 22 (10:30 AM – 2:30 PM): WHY?
A day of inspiration, stories, and inner motivation. Why take action at all? Why not stay indifferent?
-
Boris Popov, social and organizational psychologist and professor at the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana – on student protests in Serbia as a symbol of resistance and social change.
-
Kiki and Nina from EnDvaSvetova – on organizing a humanitarian concert for Palestine.
-
Simon Trussevich – on his personal story of migration and getting active in high-school and student organizations.
-
Tamer Ibrahim – on the power of the people – how young people in Sudan are building a movement that connects and moves boundaries.
-
…and more!
Sunday, November 23 (10:30 AM – 3:30 PM): HOW?
A practical workshop where participants will learn how to move from ideas to action.
Young people will reflect on the areas where they want to get involved and how they can turn their ideas into concrete prototypes for social change.
Registrations are open! The event is free of charge!
Location: Rimska 6, Ljubljana
The event will be held in Slovenian, with the exception of 2 lectures (Boris Popov and Tamer Ibrahim), which will be in English.
