KNOF Institute searches, develops and tests solutions for reducing or preventing waste. They focus on reuse of post-consumer and industrial waste, develop circular social innovations, design and produce small series sustainable products. Knof is the second registered social enterprise in Slovenia, employing 30 people in the Knof business community.
KNOF circular Lab is located in Krško on 3000m2, holding FabLab recycling Lab, Salon – the biggest refurbished furniture salon in Slovenia, Stara šola boutique, coworking space and carpentry and sewing workshops.
They believe in entrepreneurship with positive environmental, social and health effects, in local self-sufficiency at various levels and in the inclusion of vulnerable target groups.
KNOF was one of our guest speakers at the event in Trbovlje where we were discussing the circular way of doing business.
