In a world where children grow up as digital natives, education must evolve. The Wonder Learning for Digital Natives project, co-funded by Erasmus+, brings together partners from seven countries to transform classrooms into spaces of wonder, inclusion, and digital innovation.

Project Objectives:
• Strengthen digital skills of both teachers and students
• Apply the Wonder Learning approach to encourage curiosity and interactive learning
• Promote inclusive practices for students with special educational needs
• Foster environmental responsibility through sustainable education

Five Days of Inspiration in Madeira
From April 22 to 28, 2025, educators from across Europe gathered in Funchal, Madeira for a five-day Learning, Teaching, and Training (LTT) activity. Hosted by EB1/PE do Monte, this first mobility was packed with interactive sessions and inspiring practices.

Highlights included:

• Outdoor class on the importance of bees in nature
• Sensory path for students with special needs
• Robotics lessons introducing kids to technology and problem-solving
• A storytelling bus promoting reading across the island
• Creative storytelling sessions with music, movement, and 3D books
• Inclusive classroom models that support students with special needs
• Digital tools tailored for learners with hearing and visual impairments
• eTwinning project “Eco Wonderers” connecting students internationally through environmental storytelling
• A demonstration of traditional banana tree cutting

We are especially grateful to ACIN – iCloud Solutions, Madeira’s leading high-tech company, for supporting the project and opening its doors to 32 educators from 7 different countries, showcasing their work. When companies support education, they help bridge the gap between technology and teaching, promote digital literacy, and ensure that schools stay connected to the real-world skills and tools students will need in the future.

Of course, the experience wouldn’t be complete without embracing the natural beauty of Madeira — the sunrise hikes, ocean views, and even dolphin spotting offered unforgettable memories.

Next Stop: Vienna
In October 2025, the project will continue in Vienna, Austria, where the focus will shift to methodological training. Together, we’ll explore how to design educational experiences that inspire creativity, curiosity, and motivation—tailored to the needs of today’s digital-native learners.

We’re proud to be part of this transformative journey with Erasmus+ courses by Primera and our venture Primera – Zentrum für pädagogische Fortbildung Wien.
