With the project Spatial Justice we want to engage, empower and enable youth to lead sustainable actions for transforming peripheral areas into livable areas through sharing good practice, innovative tools and methods.
The project supports young people with an e-learning platform which offers many interesting lessons, like the one from Bahanur Nasya: How does settlement density impact young people’s lives?

Overview of the lecture:
Talking about inequalities, we often talk about social inequalities and inequalities of origin, but also within a country or a region, inequalities of location cannot be ignored. Because of the lack of opportunities/inspiration, many young people in rural areas are at an increased disadvantage. In her project Observatory of Rural Needs, Bahanur Nasya deals with the inequalities between rural and urban areas and explains the relevance of inspiration and interaction possibilities and the need for such places in our rural areas so that they do not die out completely.
About the lecturer:
Bahanur Nasya is a Viennese architect and film producer. Currently, she is involved in international research projects, is the chairwoman of the association x-sentrikarts and is the Head of Organisations at Wonderland. In projects she is aiming to increase future proofness, diversity and self-determination, while paying attention to common uses and rights.
