Reskilling and upskilling are two critical strategies for addressing the impact of AI in the workplace. Reskilling refers to the process of training employees in new skills that are relevant to a changing job market, while upskilling involves improving existing skills to meet the demands of new technologies and job roles. With the increasing adoption of AI in the workplace, many traditional jobs are becoming automated. To address this issue, companies are investing in reskilling and upskilling programs to equip their employees with the skills they need to work alongside AI technologies.
The BAI Project also aims to support workers in developing the necessary skills to deal with the challenges they face with AI at work.
At the end of April, we met with our partners in Porto, where we discussed the next activities to be carried out for the AI and Robotics literacy and soft skills training and set the dates to start the pilot testing of the learning platform.
