In May, we participated in the Sejem zaposlitveno-kariernih priložnosti, where we had the opportunity to present the Erasmus+ project P2P – Pathways to Progress.
The P2P project focuses on supporting migrants in vocational education, training and labour market integration through more inclusive, practical and flexible learning pathways. It addresses key topics such as recognising prior learning, understanding individual needs, supporting language development and strengthening cultural adaptation in learning and work environments.
As part of the event, we delivered a lecture where we presented findings from the project’s Research and Needs Analysis Report and explored how a growth mindset can support migrants when facing change. Moving to a new country brings many transitions, setbacks and moments of uncertainty — but with the right mindset and support, these challenges can also become opportunities for learning, resilience and personal growth.
The event was a valuable opportunity to raise awareness of how education, training and employment systems can better respond to the realities and needs of migrants.
